How to extend flow data storage on the virtual collector?

There are two ways how to extend data storage:

1) By connecting a larger data disk to the virtual appliance

• Shutdown the appliance
• Connect a new larger data disk
• Power on the appliance
• Go to Configuration Center - System - System settings - Data storage - Rescan
• Select new disk - Save - Create partition
• Reboot the appliance (data are migrated from the old data disk to the new one during the reboot so reboot might take a long time based on the amount of data being migrated)
• The disk is resized, and now it is possible to adjust quotas in Configuration Center - Resource manager

2) EXPERIMENTAL: By resizing the existing data disk and installing a resize package

• Shutdown the appliance
• Resize the existing data disk
• Power on the appliance
• Go to Configuration Center - Versions - Import package
• Import this package - https://nextcloud.flowmon.com/index.php/s/NJ7Fy46pqNJo94i
• The disk is resized, and now it is possible to adjust quotas in Configuration Center - Resource manager

The second method is faster (no data migration).
