This article will discuss the purpose of the "Total (65536) SSL open/opening connectiosn limit reached" log message.
We're having some Exchange connectivity issues. I'm looking at the LoadMaster and seeing some errors for SSL opening connections limit reached. I'm not sure what that means. It seems that all our connectivity issues seem to be going through the LoadMaster.

|Cause:||This message appears in the logs when the LoadMaster is seeing a greater number of SSL transactions per second than it can handle.|
The solution to this problem is to upgrade the model of the LoadMaster. For hardware units, this requires a replacement unit. For virtual or cloud units, this requires the purchase of a higher model than is currently deployed.
