Environment: |
Product: LoadMaster Version: Any Platform: Any Application: Any |
Question/Problem Description: |
When transparency is enabled and the default gateway of the real server is pointed to the local interface on the LoadMaster, RDP connectivity to the real server is lost. |
Steps to Reproduce: | |
Error Message: | |
Defect Number: | |
Enhancement Number: | |
Cause: |
This occurs due to asymmetric routing between the client, real server, and LoadMaster. |
Resolution: |
In a one-arm configuration Server NAT will need to be disabled to allow access to the real server using RDP. This can be done when navigating to System Configuration > Miscellaneous Options > Network Options. In a two-arm configuration, an RDP connection will need to be created to allow RDP access to the real server. 1. In the main menu, select Virtual Services > Add New. 2. Create a Virtual Service on port 3389. 3. Expand the Real Servers section and add the Real Server to be accessed. |
