Information
Summary: |
Real Server failing due to Response did not match error in the logs. |
Environment: |
Product: LoadMaster Version: Any Platform: Any Application: HTTP/HTTPS |
Question/Problem Description: |
If the Apache CSP Header on the backend server is modified, the real server begins failing health checks despite the server returning a 200 OK response. |
Steps to Reproduce: | |
Error Message: | Removing RS - Response did not match |
Defect Number: | LM-2344 |
Enhancement Number: | |
Cause: | The max header size for health checks is 8k characters. The CSP header is pushing the health check over the 8k total header character limit. |
Resolution: | Modify the returned headers from the server to be below the 8k character limitation. |
Workaround: | Lower the LM health check to not be examining returned headers from the server. |
