Invalid configuration for device '0'

Summary:

Within vSphere, Eth0 interface was disconnected and lost access to the Web Interface of the LoadMaster.  When trying to re-connect eth0, vSphere presented the error "Invalid configuration for device '0'" and would not allow for it to be added back.

Environment:

Product: LoadMaster

Version: Any

Platform: VMWare

Application: Any

Question/Problem Description:

vSphere will not allow for NIC1 (eth0) to be re-connected after temporarily being disconnected

Steps to Reproduce:  
Error Message: invalid configuration for device '0'
Defect Number:  
Enhancement Number:  
Cause: Invalid port group selection
Resolution:
  1. Connect vSphere Client to the vCenter Server.
  2. Right-click the virtual machine and select Edit Settings.
  3. Select the Network Card and change the Port Group settings to a different Port Group and click OK.
  4. Change the Port Group of the virtual machine back to the original Port Group and click OK.
Workaround:  
Notes: Powering on / Cloning a virtual machine fails with the error: "Invalid Configuration for Device 0"
