Resolution: |
1. SMTPS traffic must encrypted the entire way through, so it needs a virtual service on port 587 with the service type as "Generic". 2. No SSL Acceleration needs to be enabled for SMTPS, as it should work straight through without the need for the loadmaster to either decrypt or manipulate the traffic at all. 3. Then add the SMTPS server over port 587 4. It is recommended to try telnetting to the service to confirm that it is accepting requests using the following command. "telnet 10.67.49.169 587"
