Question/Problem Description:

The X-Forwarded-For header is showing IPv6 addresses, but only IPv4 addresses should be seen.

Steps to Reproduce:  
Error Message:  
Defect Number:  
Enhancement Number:  
Cause: Somewhere upstream is injecting an IPv6 address into the X-Forwarded-For header so it already exists when it reaches the LoadMaster.
Resolution:

Create a content rule with the following parameters:

Rule Type:  Replace Header
Header Field:  X-Forwarded-For
Match String:  /.*,\s+(.*)/
Value of Header Field to be replaced:  \1

Apply this as a request rule into the virtual service.
