It is possible to import/export a configuration XML file from/to iDRAC. Since iDRAC 9 it is possible to do it in iDRAC UI, for iDRAC 7/8 it has to be done via CLI with the "racadm" tool. It is recommended to do the backup from an external appliance where the "racadm" tool can be installed. The "racadm" tool is also available in Flowmon OS.
