Flowmon GUI deployed in AWS doesn't respond or the page takes too long to load

Summary:

Flowmon (GUI) deployed in AWS sometimes stops responding if DNS is disabled or not responding

Environment:

Question/Problem Description:

We are having issues with setting up flowmon in aws. We keep losing connection to the flowmon.

Steps to Reproduce: Deploy Flowmon in AWS, then change DNS to some nonsense / IP address that is not assigned to a DNS server
Error Message:

According to the documentation, Flowmon needs access to DNS servers to function properly:

DNS needs to be configured to resolve this issue. This can be done after accessing the console via SSH (in AWS a SSH key is required for this) and running the command "sysconfig".
