Within Virtual Services > View/Modify Services > modify your existing Virtual Service > SubVSs (if applicable) > Real Servers, each Real Server is configured with a Forwarding Method. Typically, this Forwarding Method is NAT. The NAT forwarding method is the default and will not interfere with Transparency or any other feature designed to pass on the source IP of the connection to the real server. This would be the job of a proxy, which Transparency is in direct opposition to. The alternative to the NAT Forwarding method is Direct return, which is required for Direct Server Return, as outlined in the below article. |
