With regards to firewalls and network security, only the listening port number that the collector is receiving the flow data on and which the probe sends it to needs to be enabled. By default that is port 3000, but the target listening port can be changed in the monitoring port settings on the probe. On the receiving end (which is the collector), changing the default listening port in the "FMC Configuration" section in the Configuration Center is possible.
