Fixing issues with migrating Hybrid mailboxes

Occasionally when moving Hybrid mailboxes, errors can occur. An example of an error that is shown in the logs is below:

kernel: L7: badrequest-client_read [X.X.X.X:61541->X.X.X.X:443] (-501): <s:Envelope ? , 0 [hlen 1270, nhdrs 8]

This error appears to be due to the Hybrid client sending an "expect" header containing "100 Continue" with the initial post but not waiting for the server to return "100 Continue". It then sends the payload without the "expect" header. The LoadMaster then does not see the "expect" header and rejects it as a bad request.

More information can be found here: http://www.w3.org/Protocols/rfc2616/rfc2616.txt

This page linked to above highlights that some applications will not wait for the "100 Continue" to be returned from the server and will send the data regardless.

To resolve this issue, follow the steps below in the LoadMaster Web User Interface (WUI):

      1. In the main menu, select System Configuration > Miscellaneous Options > L7 Configuration.

      2. In the 100-Continue Handling drop-down list, select RFC-7231 Compliant.
