Supported Hypervisor Platforms for a Kemp Virtual LoadMaster

Kemp Virtual LoadMasters can be installed on Microsoft Hyper-V, VMware, Xen, KVM and Oracle VirtualBox.

  • Microsoft Hyper-V requires 32 GB of disk space with 2 x virtual CPUs and at least 2GB memory.
  • ESX, ESXi, and VSphere require a minimum of 32 GB of disk space with 2 x virtual CPUs (reserve 2 GHz) and at least 2GB memory.
  • VMware Workstation and Player require is 32 GB of disk space with 2 x virtual CPUs (reserve 2 GHz) and at least 2GB memory.
  • Xen virtual machine requires 32 GB virtual hard disk and 2 GB RAM.
  • KVM virtual machine requires 32 GB virtual hard disk and 2 GB RAM.
  • Oracle VirtualBox requires 32 GB virtual hard disk and 2 GB RAM.
