RADIUS Authentication for LoadMaster users

The LoadMaster supports RADIUS as a networking protocol that provides centralized Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting (AAA) management of network devices.

To add radius server to the LoadMaster, follow the steps below in the Web User Interface (WUI):

  1. In the main menu, go to System Configuration > Miscellaneous Options > Remote Access.
  2. In the Radius Server section, enter the address of the RADIUS Server to be used to validate user access to the LoadMaster.
  3. Click Radius Server.
  4. Enter the Shared Secret and click Set Secret. This is the shared secret used to access the radius server.
  5. Next, set the Revalidation Interval. This specifies how often the user credentials will be revalidated with the RADIUS server. The standard is 60 seconds.
