How to Match a Particular Hostname and Send to a Server

If you have 2 DNS names and you want to send one to Real server 1 and the other to Real Server 2, please follow the steps below in the LoadMaster Web User Interface (WUI):

 

1. In the main menu, select Rules & Checking and Content Rules.
2. Click Create new.
3. Use the following Rule.
4. Click Create Rule.
5. Use the following Rule.
6. Click Create Rule.
7. In the main menu, select Virtual Services and View/Modify Services.
8. Click Modify on the relevant Virtual Service.
9. Expand the Advanced Properties section.
10. Enable Content Switching
11. Expand Real Server section
12. Click None on Real server 1
13. Add match_rule_1
14. Click None on Real server 2
15. Add match_rule_2
16. Point domain1.com and domain2.com to the Virtual Service.

These rules will allow traffic for domain1.com to go to Server 1 and domain2.com to go to Server 2.
