Resolution:

SNMP live check is performed every 5 minutes. If the check fails, it is reported via notification, mail, syslog, and SNMP trap (if configured). It is reported only once and then waits until the flow source starts responding again.

Flow source live check (via SNMP) sends the following syslog message:

CEF:0|Flowmon|Flowmon Collector 500 VA|12.03.05|System Error|System Error|3|rt=1712127605453 cs1=FMC cs1Label=Module msg=Flow source 10.10.10.10 is not responding! Please check whether it is working properly.

Facility 20 (local4), severity 3 (error).

Flow data live check is also performed every 5 minutes. If the check fails, it is reported via notification, mail, syslog, and SNMP trap (if configured). It is reported once, and with every other failure, the timestamp of the warning in the GUI is updated. Mail (syslog, SNMP trap) is sent for the first detection and then only in case the last error is 24 hours or more, old.

Flow data live check sends the following syslog message:

CEF:0|Flowmon|Flowmon Collector 500 VA|12.03.05|System Error|System Error|3|rt=1712132943286 msg=Flow source 10.10.10.10 (10.10.10.10 (localhost.localdomain, NetFlow-port3000)) sent less flows than required in the last 5-minute window. Please check whether it is working properly.

Facility 20 (local4), severity 3 (error).
