LoadMaster 360 1.2 User Insights Release Announcement

We’re very proud to announce the release of the latest version of LoadMaster 360. It delivers an update that expands our user analytics with a focus on Application Latency Timings and User Requests Insights.

 

Application Analytics and Telemetry offers a comprehensive view of the performance and state of all applications and APIs. Managing and monitoring applications are complex tasks, due to multiple components, rules and services that are spread across your estate. LoadMaster 360 provides a unified and holistic view of the application experience by mapping virtual services to an Application structure. Users can access detailed application delivery metrics for accurate performance analytics which can assist with resolving application delivery issues faster. With the enhancements below you will have even more granular depth to understand the user landscape on how their experience is impacted by the current status or performance.

 

Client request insights

 

This feature captures comprehensive client request and response data, providing a deeper understanding of your application traffic. Logs are collected for a 10-minute period (or until storage limits are reached) ensuring you capture crucial data when you need it most, without the burden of continuous logging.

These insights can be easily correlated to understand the overall application experience, identify unusual traffic patterns, detect performance issues and reduce administrative overhead.

 

 

Client connection insights

With this release, the LoadMaster 360 Application Timings has been enhanced with a suite of new widgets that deliver key metrics and visibility into the performance of your applications.

  • Client Connections: LoadMaster 360 maps your external connections in a global map view, allowing you to see where connections originate from - giving you a geographic understanding of your application's reach and normal behavior.
  • Top HTTP request methods: Gain visibility into the most-used HTTP methods with data sourced directly from LoadMaster logs. (A LoadMaster running 7.2.60 (or above) is required and you must Enable Request logging in the User Insights page in LoadMaster 360 to populate this data)
  • Top servers by connections: Identify the servers handling the highest-number of connections, enabling optimized resource allocation.
  • Top clients by throughput: Understand which clients are consuming the most bandwidth, helping you manage performance effectively

IT teams can easily collaborate to mitigate issues and routinely evaluate application status, client insights and security posture from the provided insights and data. LoadMaster 360 provides visibility into critical data and integrates it into incident management. As a result, teams can receive detailed notifications about potential application performance and availability issues.

 

 

Connector Status page:

When onboarding to LoadMaster 360, ensuring proper connectivity between your LoadMasters, the cloud, and critical services is essential. Due to the complexity of your network environment, you may experience issues getting the LoadMaster 360 Connector into a reachable state. With the new Connector Status page, you can now effortlessly verify your LoadMaster 360 Connector's connectivity and identify potential issues because they will be highlighted in red on the status page.

Benefits of the status page are as follows:

  • Visibility of critical processes: Easily monitor all essential processes required for LoadMaster 360 to complete the deployment process.
  • Connectivity checks: Verify the connectivity between:
    • Your LoadMaster 360 Connector and the cloud
    • The LoadMaster 360 Connector and your LoadMasters
  • Actionable information: The status page highlights both successes and failures. This helps you to identify any potential issues.
  • No authentication required: The status page is designed to be read-only and accessible without authentication, ensuring quick and easy access.
