Amazon Web Services (AWS) - Supported Network Configurations

The following network configurations are supported for Amazon Web Services (AWS) and LoadMaster and their respective links.

 

Non-High Availability (HA) Configurations

Single Arm Single Public IP Address in AWS

This is the standard deployment for AWS

LoadMaster for AWS

Single Arm Multi-Public IP Address In AWS

This entails using only one Network Interface Controller (NIC) with multiple elastic IP addresses associated with the interface.

Single Arm Multi-Public IP Address In AWS

Multi Arm Multi-Public IP Address in AWS

This entails using two or more NICs with each NIC having their own respective public IP address. You can also configure multiple elastic IP addresses on the interface.

Multi Arm Multi-Public IP Address In AWS

Multi Arm Single Public IP Address in AWS

This entails using two or more NICs but only using one public IP address associated with eth0. The other NIC(s) are attached to the LoadMaster but only be using their private IP address. The link below covers how to add an additional NIC in AWS. It also covers how to assign a public IP address to the NIC. This step can be skipped if you do not want this NIC to be publicly accessible.

Multi Arm Single Public IP Address in AWS for HA
