L7 Wait After POST Option

This article relates to LoadMaster firmware version 7.2.51.

In LoadMaster firmware version 7.2.51, a new option was introduced that is applicable when performing Kerberos Constrained Delegation (KCD) back-end authentication. The field is called L7 Wait after POST. This option is configurable in the LoadMaster User Interface (UI) by going to System Configuration > Miscellaneous Options > L7 Configuration. The L7 Wait after POST option allows you to change the length of time to wait for a 401 response from a POST before sending the remainder of the POST body. Valid values for the wait period range from 1 to 2000 milliseconds (ms). The default value is 2000. If KCD is not being used, this option has no effect.

Application Programming Interface (API) Details

You can retrieve the value of the wait time by running a get command in the RESTful API with the authpostwait parameter. For example:

/access/get?value=authpostwait

You can configure the value of the wait time by running a set command with the authpostwait parameter. For example:

/access/set?param=authpostwait&value=<1-2000>

For further details on the RESTful API in general, refer to the Long Term Support (LTS) RESTful API Interface Description.

For PowerShell help, run the Get-Help command for the relevant commands.
