"Cannot connect to any licensing server" log message
After upgrading to GA 7.2.56, the LoadMaster started sending email alerts about not being able to connect to the licensing server.
Platform: All platforms.
Customer was getting ERR emails saying the LoadMasters cannot connect to any licensing server. Prior to the upgrade, the customer was not getting such alerts since these had a lower logging severity.
|Steps to Reproduce:|
|Error Message:||"Cannot connect to any licensing server"|
|Cause:||The units do not have access the internet and they can't connect over HTTPS to licensing.kemp.ax - 126.96.36.199 nor alsi2.kemptechnologies.com - 188.8.131.52.|
|Resolution:||Since the customer couldn't disable the ERR email alerts, suggested to allow HTTPS access from the LoadMaster to our licensing servers but this was not an option either.|
|Workaround:||Suggested to disable the call home feature which allows the LoadMaster to send data to our licensing servers for analysis.
This can be disabled by going to Certificates & Security > Remote Access > uncheck Enable Kemp Analytics.
