How to get the LoadMaster to send traffic from its IP when connecting to the real servers
Changing the back-end IP the LoadMaster sends traffic from.
The connections to the real servers is showing as the IP of the virtual service and not the kemp interface.
|Steps to Reproduce:||Toggle Subnet Originating Requests (SOR) within the Standard Options tab of the Virtual Service.|
|Cause:||This may be a requirement of the network or the server.|
|Resolution:||Within the desired VS or SubVS, expand Standard Options and check the box labeled Subnet Originating Requests.|
Navigate to System Configuration > Miscellaneous Options > L7 Configuration > check the box labeled Allow connection scaling over 64K Connections.
Back on your Virtual Service, expand Advanced Properties > populate the desired Source IP from the LoadMaster within the Alternate Source Address field. Note, this IP should be a unique host IP address.
