LoadMaster was down yesterday and we need help troubleshooting why.

Resolution:

Packet captures can always be taken to ensure that traffic is still arriving at the LoadMaster.

Packet captures can be taken by navigating to System Configuration > Troubleshooting > TCP dump. In older versions of firmware, this was within System Configuration > Logging Options > System Log Files > Debug Options > TCP dump.

We recommend configuring Syslog and Netconsole, as outlined in the link below.

Netconsole will remotely record logs that are ordinarily unseen within the LoadMaster to the associated Netconsole (Syslog) server. These logs center around any crashes the LoadMaster experienced.
