Summary:

Want to upgrade firmware to the latest GA release, but not sure which steps to take.

Question/Problem Description:

EU looking to update firmware and wanted to know if they could go straight to the latest GA release from their current release, or needed to upgrade to an older version first

Resolution:
  • You can upgrade directly to our latest GA release 7.2.56 from 7.2.54.1 or later.  You are not required to update to .55 or any other previous version beforehand.
  • The only instance where you would need to upgrade to an older version of firmware first, is if you are upgrading from a firmware version pre-7.1.35.7, In which case you would need to upgrade to 7.2.48.x first.
