Environment:

Product: LoadMaster

Version: Any

Platform: Azure

Want some assistance creating a Port 80 service to go with their current Port 443 service.

Steps to Reproduce: Duplicate existing 443 service, then change the port to 80.
Error Message:
Defect Number:
Enhancement Number:
Cause:
Resolution:
  • Already created a rule to open port 80 tcp traffic on the internal load balancer in azure.
  • Most of the configuration on the 443 service could be applicable to the port 80 service, it was decided to simply duplicate the port 443 vs. Modify the VS > Duplicate > Set Port to 80
  • Once duplicated, disable SSL acceleration, and switched the backend server ports to listen over 80 instead.
  • Service is now passing health checks successfully.
