Question/Problem Description:

Trying to renew management certificate for one LoadMaster. but receiving an invalid format error.

Steps to Reproduce:  
Error Message: Invalid format
Defect Number:  
Enhancement Number:  
Cause: Certificate file was not in an acceptable format.
Resolution:
  • The two formats officially supported by the LoadMaster are .PEM and .PFX.
  • It is recommended to use one of these formats, although the .CER format is also acceptable.
  • When importing the certificate, the LoadMaster requires either the private key for a .PEM file, or a passphrase for a .PFX file.  Unable to import certificate without one of those two items.
  • If there is no way to locate the private key or obtain the passphrase, re-generate the certificate in the .PFX format along with a passphrase.
