Defect Number:
Enhancement Number:
Cause:
Resolution:
  • The LoadMaster can conform to Exchange's Extended Protection by passing an encrypted connection to the Exchange server.
  • To pass an encrypted connection to the Exchange server, it is recommended to create a Virtual Service (VS) that uses a Template (downloaded from here) that indicates Re-encryption is occurring. Instructions for creating a VS can be found here.
  • If a template is not used, simply use the above link to create a VS manually. To properly pass an encrypted connection to the Exchange server, simply leave SSL disabled or enable SSL Re-encrypt.

  • If enabling SSL, don't forget to insert a certificate on your Virtual Service, otherwise a LoadMaster self-signed certificate will be used.
