How to delete an SSO Domain within a Virtual Service.

Environment:

Question/Problem Description:

In trying to remove the LDAP configuration from the Kemp Loadmaster, the option to Delete is greyed out. In SSO settings it is shown as being used, but the option to Delete the client side single sign on configuration is greyed out too.

How can the LDAP SSO be removed?

Resolution:
  • In order to delete an SSO, it must first be removed from any Virtual Services it's applied to.
  • If the SSO is applied to at least one Virtual Service, the Delete button will be grayed out.

  • To remove the grayed out status of the button, navigate to Virtual Services > View/Modify Services > observe the "Layer" column. This will be notated with "+ESP", if ESP is enabled on the Virtual Service or SubVS.

  • Modify the Virtual Service or SubVS in question and either disable ESP or use an alternate SSO.
  • Once the SSO is removed from all locations, the option to delete the SSO will be available.
