1 Introduction
System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) is a cross-platform data center monitoring system for operating systems and hypervisors. It uses a single interface that shows state, health and performance information of computer systems.

2 Configuration
2.1 Global Configuration
No Changes Required
2.2 Virtual Service Configuration
Two Virtual Services required. One service listening on port 5723 which will be used to Load Balance SCOM Gateway and another service listening on port 5724 for SCOM Management.
2.3 SCOM Gateway
> New Virtual Service
> Enter IP Address
> Port = 5723
> Name = SCOM Gateway
2.4 Standard Options
> Persistence = Source IP
> Timeout = 1 Hours
> Scheduling Method = Least Connection
2.5 Real Servers
> Checker Parameter Type = TCP
> Checked Port = 5723
> Add New
> Enter Real Server IP Address
> Port = 8080
> Forwarding Method = NAT
2.3 SCOM Mangement
> New Virtual Service
> Enter IP Address
> Port = 5724
> Name = SCOM Management
2.4 Standard Options
> Persistence = Source IP
> Timeout = 1 Hours
> Scheduling Method = Least Connection
2.6 Real Servers
> Checker Parameter Type = TCP
> Checked Port = 5724
> Add New
