Form based to Form based auth SharePoint 2013

0

I currently have LoadMaster Version 7.2.39.0.15451 installed and I'm trying to get SSO working with SharePoint 2013.  We currently use NTLM for authentication in SharePoint.

Based on the conversation I've had with support and the documentation my only options for true SSO is Forms with Kemp and Basic with SharePoint

https://support.kemptechnologies.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003174566-ESP-Compatibility-Between-Client-Side-Server-Side-Authentication-Protocols

Forms to Forms doesn't seem to be an option since SharePoint requires an entry for a "ASP.NET membership provider name" when using forms based Auth.  am i missing something with my setup?

Hello Jeremy,

You can use NTLM for the KEMP on the front end but the backend will have to be KCD as we cannot pass NTLM auth through the LM. See our doc on KCD here: https://support.kemptechnologies.com/hc/en-us/articles/203860275-Kerberos-Constrained-Delegation

Thanks for the quick response.

Unfortunately we are not setup to use Kerberos and we where hoping to use the form Client Authentication Mode.

So the Forms Server Authentication Mode option is a definite no go?

Hello Jeremy,

The Forms based is only tested with exchange 2013/2016. we have not had success with sharepoint as of yet with FBA. The other options are as follows

FBA/Basic

FBA/KCD

NTLM/KCD

Basic/basic

regards

Mark

I see, is there anything in the road map for this?
