WebDAV and Kemp Loadmaster

0

I've got a SharePoint farm hosted through a Loadmaster VLM-2000.  It works on port 80 and 443 without an issue except for anyone who has their drives mapped via WebDAV to the sharepoint libraries.  For some reason they get the error:

\\Web.farm.int@SSL\DavWWWRoot\Library\Library is not accessible.  You might not have permissions to use this network resource.  Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have permissions.  A device attached to the system is not functioning.

If I bypass the loadmaster the drive mapping works fine.

My settings are for the Virtual Services:

Port 80:

  • Transparency:  enabled
  • WAF:  Enabled

SubVS:

  • Transparency:  Disabled

 Port 443:

  • Transparency: Disabled
  • SSL Acceleration:   Enabled
  • Renecrypt:  Enabled
  • Supported protocols:  TLS1.1 TLS 1.2
  • Certificate imported
  • WAF:  Enabled

SubVS:

  • Transparency:  Disabled

I thought WebDAV was accomplished over port 80 or 443.  Is there additional ports I need to open in order for the drive mappings to work correctly?

Hello,

I would recommend opening a support ticket to get a better look at your setup,
if possible can you test the following,

For the 443 VS disable WAF and SSL acceleration
it maybe a case that WAF or the SSL protocols are breaking the connection, disabling SSL acceleration will confirm this
