Sharepoint/Office Web Apps with SSL Offloading issue

0

I have a Kemp Loadmaster performing SSL offloading for my single sharepoint server (may add more later) and for my single Office Web Apps server. My problem is this:
SharePoint and OWA are on the same subnet. They each use the Loadmaster as their Default Gateway. Clients that do not use the Loadmaster as their Default Gateway can access Sharepoint and the OWA page https://owaserver/hosting/discovery without issue. The SharePoint server needs to access OWA through the loadbalancer since the URL's point to https://OWA but OWA only runs http since it is using SSL offload. It seems like traffic sent to the VIP of OWA from SharePoint, using the Loadmaster as Default Gateway, are not being routed to the VIP. Is there anyone that has gotten this to work? I have tried creating a static route on the SharePoint server that points to the LAN router, hoping that would fix it, but it didn't do the trick.

The Issue here may be that the Sharepoint Server is on the same Subnet as the OWA server and therefore with Transparnecy on the return path may not be going via the gateway. I would suggest creating a support ticket and we can look at it further

Thanks Barry! Disabling Transparency did the trick.
