For anyone who has problems with the KVM/XEN versions, use the Virtualbox image

I was trying to run the KVM and the XEN versions on an Ubuntu 14.04 KVM box and the bootloader complained, that the disk is not a bootable disk.

Then I downloaded the Oracle Virtualbox Image and extracted the vmdk-file from the ova tar archive and converted said vmdk to a raw image and that is currently booting.

Thought this might help anyone having the same problem.

Thanks for the very helpful device. We have actually rectified the problem that you described with the bootloader so this should no longer be necessary.
