Azure High Availability - Internal IP's

0

Is it possible to create a high availibility set of Kemp VLB's utilising internal IP addresses? I have one set to the master, pointing to the slave (e.g. 10.48.241.9). And the slave pointing to the Master (10.48.241.8). Both in the same cloud service, subnet and virtual network. in the status bar after configuring the Master has "Master (UN-CHECKED)" displayed. and the Slave has "Slave (UN-CHECKED)". Both are on version 7.1-30-75 (Azure)

Hello Luke,

We have the same problem on multiple KEMP installations in Azure (ARM). First KEMP Support dismissed this as an issue in our setup, but after fianlly looking at the issue KEMP Support was able to recreate the problem by deploying two KEMP units from the Azure Marketplace. After performing wireshark traces the issue seems to be cosmetic only and KEMP will issue a patch to resolve the issue.

Microsoft ILB needs to be deployed to probe 2 HA units and ILB decides that traffic is to be sent to Master
