1.1 Document Purpose
This section details a configuration for a specific application that has been provided by a customer but has yet to be fully tested.
This specific configuration will ensure that your Cloudian servers are highly-available, scalable, and secure.
Configuration has yet to be fully verified, Kemp Support will gladly assist if your Cloudian traffic is not flowing as expected.
2. Configuration Required
2 Virtual Services maybe required in some environments, or else a loop may occur. The client will make a connection to Virtual Service-1 (VS) --> and VS-1 to --> Real Server, Real Server could then potentially need to connect back into the cluster to retrieve additional data. In order to do this it should connect to an identical VS-2 on a different IP. Services will be listening on Port 80 with 2 Extra Ports required, 8443 and 8888.
2.1 Global Configuration
No Changes Required.
3 Virtual Service Configuration:
3.1 Cloudian VS-1
> New Virtual Service
> Enter IP Address
> Port = 80
> Name = iManage
> Add New Virtual Service
3.2 Standard Options
> Disable L7
> Extra Ports 8443,8888
> Persistence = Source IP
> Timeout = 6 Minutes
> Scheduling Method = Round Robin
3.3 Real Servers
> Checker Parameter Type = ICMP
> Enter Real Server IP Address
> Port = 80
> Forwarding Method = NAT
4. Create Cloud VS-2
Virtual Services --> Modify Cloudian VS-1 --> Basic Properties --> Duplicate VIP --> New Virtual Address and enter IP of Cloudian VS-2
