Problems with Desktopshare and Filetransfern over Kemp NLB

0

Hello,

First the infrastructure:

1 Kemp NLB (free edition) (DMZ)

2 Skype for Business edge (DMZ)

3 Skype for Business front-end (server-network)

1 Sesionhost with Skype for Business Client (client-network)

We configured the Kemp NLB for the edge server (SIP, AV, Conferencing, XMPP) according to the recommendations.

https://support.kemptechnologies.com/hc/en-us/articles/206151706-MS-Skype-for-Business

The skype edge are communicate directly to the front end.

It is not possible to use desktopshare or filetransfer from sessionhost to external or external to sessionhost. If we bypass the Kemp NLB or only have one skype edge online (the other server are disabled in the nlb) it works.

External to external and sessionhost to sessionhost is no problem.

Is there any known issue?

Kind regards

Julian

hello Julian,

My initial thought is that the may be a problem with the certificates on the real servers. can you ensure that all the real servers have the same certificate installed on them? I would then ensure you have the correct ROOT and intermediate installed on the LM.

let me know if this helps

Hello Mark,

thank you for your answer.

We use on all Servers and LM the same certificate. But we do not use the LM ssl acceleration feature.

If only one edge Server online in the LM, it works. If we switch from edge "A" to edge "B" in the LM it works too. But if edge "A" and "B" active in the LM, it does nott work.

Hello Julian,

Can you enable "source IP" persistence under standard options and test again please?
