1 Introduction
IBM Maximo Asset Management is a comprehensive solution for managing physical assets on a common platform in asset-intensive industries. It offers built in mobile access, out-of-the box mapping, crew management and analytical insight.
Maximo Asset Management allows organizations to share and enforce best practices, inventory, resources and personnel. It helps manage all types of assets – including plant, production, infrastructure, facilities, transportation and communications.

This section details a configuration for a specific application that has been provided by a customer but has yet to be fully tested.
This specific configuration will ensure that your IBM Maximo Tivoli servers are highly-available, scalable, and secure.
Configuration has yet to be fully verified, Kemp Support will gladly assist if your vRealize traffic is not flowing as expected.
2. Configuration Required
1 Virtual Services Required.
Maximo Tivoli will be configured to receive connections on port 443. You can also configure for port 80. If clients are connecting over port 80 but you require clients to connect over port 443, then you can apply a port 80 redirector VS. See link to Kemp KB.

3 Virtual Service Configuration:
3.1 Maximo Tivoli
> New Virtual Service
> Enter IP Address
> Port = 443
> Name = IBM Maximo Tivoli
> Add New Virtual Service
3.2 Standard Options
> Disable L7
> Persistence = Source IP
> Timeout = 1 Hour
> Scheduling Method = Round Robin
3.3 Real Servers
> Checker Parameter Type = HTTPS
> Check Port = 443
> URL: /maximo/webclient/login/login.jsp
> Add New
> Enter Real Server IP Address
> Port = 443
> Forwarding Method = NAT
