Can't connect to licensing service

0

I'm trying to stand up a first LoadMaster.  I've got my Kemp ID and the addresses assigned.  From the VM's web page all of the ping tests (DNS, licensing, activation) are successful.  I DO NOT have an option for online or offline method.  When I put in my Kemp ID and password, it churns for a while and comes back with "Licensing Failed: Cannot connect to Licensing Service", however I receive an email with my licensing information shortly thereafter.  There's a license block, but I've got nowhere to paste it.

Hello Todd,

you will need to use online licensing for the first activation. Do you use a proxy to access the internet on the LAN that it is attached  to? if so can you configure said proxy on the debug options page. If all else fails please open a ticket and we will assist you further.

Hello Najwa,

The test uses ping to check connectivity but we use a HTTPS connection for getting the licence. You might check and see if port 443 is allowed outbound from the LM to the internet address, alsi2.kemptechnologies.com and alsi.kemptechnologies.com

many thanks

Mark
