1 Introduction
AppSense is a leading provider of management solutions for secure user environments. Since its founding in 1999, the company has helped thousands of customers optimize and secure millions of endpoints, helping IT departments gain the most from their enterprise workspace. AppSense Management Center enables IT to rapidly deploy AppSense’ powerful solutions at scale.
1.2 Document Purpose
This section details a configuration for a specific application that has been provided by a customer but has yet to be fully tested.
The purpose of this document is to give readers an overview on the recommended best practice settings when configuring the Ivanti (Appsense) UWM (User Workspace Manager) components for load balancing.
Configuration has yet to be fully verified, but Kemp Support will gladly assist if Ivanti (Appsense) UWM (User Workspace Manager) traffic is not flowing as expected.
2 Configuration Required
Two Virtual Services required. One listening on port 80 for your Appsense Service Group service and one Appsense Management Agent on port 7751.

> Enter IP Address
> Port = 80
> Name = Appsense Service Group
> Add New Virtual Service
2.4 Standard Options
> Disable Transparency
> Subnet Originating Request = Enable
> Persistence = Source IP
> Persistence Time = 30min
> Scheduling Method = Least Connection
> Idle Connection Timeout = 660 (Default)

> Checker Parameter Type = HTTP
> Check Port = 80
> Add New
> Enter IP Address
