I am standing up a LM-220 HA pair. I plan on setting up the LM in a one-armed config with the ability to support real servers on different subnets. Which option below is the recommended choice?
option A) connect interface 0 to a switchport in a routed subnet. All IPs for VS will come from this subnet. I would then check the box for "Enable Non-Local Real Servers"
pros - easy simple setup
cons - real servers are not local - possible future issues due to reals servers not being local
option B) connect interface 0 to trunkport allowing VS IPs to live in any subnet - this will also make all real servers appear to be local
pros - real server are local
cons - none
