Loadbalancing on the same subnet

0

So I have an internal subnet of 192.168.1.x

I install the Kemp Load Balancer at 192.168.1.140

I have a bunch of Raspi units (192.168.1.141 to 151)

I want to configure the KEMP LB to have 140 as the main Logical IP address that forwards all traffic to the 141-151 Raspi Units on the same subnet.

I am running honeypots on the Raspi Units (Bitfence).

I am going to configure the DLINK DIR 655 to forward a number of ports to 140 so that the KEMP LB spans out the requests to the 10 Rapspi unit running Bitfence.

Is the above possible with the KEMP LB when all units including the KEMP LB VM are on the same subnet?

Hi Arnold,

the LoadMaster can send traffic to one server at a time depending on scheduling, persistence etc,
currently it is not possible to broadcast each request to multiple servers at the same time
