Kemp free load balancer IP ranges to add.

0

I have Kemp free load balancer installed and up and running. when it asks which ip address in the begining i gave it 192.158.21.40/24

I have one VIP thats load balanced on 192.158.21.45. I have one VIP in 172.158.21.1/24 range that i need to load balance. How can i add that to this load balancer without installing a new load balancer. I want to present both 192.X and 172.X to the load balancer.

Please advice.

Hello,

if you are looking to use an IP in the network range 172.158.21.0/24 for a virtual service address
you will need to add a network arm to that subnet

please see this link for more details
https://support.kemptechnologies.com/hc/en-us/articles/202214098-What-are-the-network-deployment-options-on-the-KEMP-LoadMaster-

if you are looking to use an real server in the network range 172.158.21.0/24
you can add it as a non-local real server
please see this link for more details
